Reddit itself is a social media platform that doesn't really differ from Instagram and the like in terms of its functions.
However, the structure of the accounts and the way users interact with each other is different.
In itself, you have a classic home page, of course, where the things you have subscribed to are suggested to you. You can follow users and join groups (so-called Subreddits).
With the account, you can of course add a profile picture (or avatar), as well as a banner and a bio.
So far so good, but what makes Reddit different from other platforms?
The account is quite classic, as I just described, with the small difference that under the name is "Karma", with a number next to it.
This karma is decisive for what Subreddits (groups) you can post in.
It also increases the chance that more people will see the posts.
If you now go to an account, you will first see the pinned posts (if any) and then normally the posts that were posted last. However, not only those that you have posted normally in the account, but also from the groups.
You get karma by getting upvotes (likes). The more people upvote your photo/video, the more people see it and the more potential fans come to the profile.
You can either buy an account with karma or build one from scratch. It's entirely up to you.
There are much free karma Subreddits that are there just to get karma. In these groups, all users vote up each other's posts and comments.
There are 2 different types of karma, one is the "normal" posting karma (the number under your name) and the other is comment karma, which you get for upvotes on comments.
The whole thing is quite time-consuming, but if you hang behind it you can collect a good 100-200 karma a day.
For larger Subreddit, you should have on average 2-10k karma to be able to post.
The first thing you need to do is find a few Subreddits that fit you and your content.
It doesn't make sense if you are slim and have small breasts and then post in a Subreddit that is about plus-size and big breasts. Also, you can risk a ban by doing that, as each Subreddit has its own rules that you have to follow.
What's also important is that many Subreddits don't allow brand-new accounts to post at all. Meaning, for many, you need an account that is at least between 3 and 12 months old.
But there are also enough Subreddits where you can upload stuff as an OnlyFans beginner without much karma and age.
Depending on the Subreddit it is different what you upload, because there are Subreddits for feet, butts, breasts and otherwise all sorts of things and regions.
Just make sure in general that the quality is right, and the titles are very catchy.
But quality is not everything, if the image is coherent with the caption, it can still get many upvotes.
You can also orientate yourself on other creators and also sort in Subreddits themselves for top contributions.
But be careful, many Subreddits do not want top 100 posts to be copied.
It also depends on the Subreddit.
Just always read the rules, then you know about everything. Most of them allow you to make 3 posts within 24 hours, but not one right after the other.
